RE: Plant Auction Job Description [Excrutiatingly Long]

Hi Erik,

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well; Yes, the meeting was fun (IMHO).
Although, since I coordinated it, I'd like to hear what everyone else
thought. There were a few things that could have gone better -- like having
the lights on in the grow-out tank area so that we could actually see what
was in the tanks, but, in general I think things went smoothly. We had a
record attendance (for this year, anyway) of 35 - Lots of visitors, at least
two brand new members, and several "current" and paid-up members whose names
I recognized from the list; but who had never been to a meeting yet this
club-year.

This Plant Auction Job Description is EXCELLENT! Now I can start my
"Committee Chair Job Descriptions" project. Having both the long, detailed
version and the short check-list is perfect!

Thanks for the hard work.

Rick

Sorry I didn't make it tonight; I had a really bad stomach flu on Sunday,
and am still not quite up to par (& not wanting to pass it on to others
either!). Hope it was fun!

Since I'm on the hook for the plant auction, I thought I'd diagram out
what we'll need before the board meeting... and maybe between the auction
itself & this document, it will help whoever organizes the April auction,
next year & beyond...
