Thanx for the update.  Perhaps we could make a note on the website as to when 
we might expect our new cards or the cards to be mailed to members?

Is the above possible?  If so, are there any drawbacks to doing so?

As I recollect the membership cards used to be mailed out with the 
newsletters and sometimes issued at the meetings. I think it's been a long 
time since any cards have been issued at all. At this time I don't think 
any cards exist for issue. Rick is working on designing new cards that do 
not need the president's signature (March minutes, page 9).
      I would be happy to take care of mailing out the cards once we have 
them. A set of pre-printed address lablels would be most helpful for 
mailing out the initial batch.
      Lately I've been telling new members that their cards will be mailed 
in the near future.
      We probably need to make printing the new cards a priority item. 
There are a couple of local printers here in West Seattle that I could have 
print them if the design info could be provided.
