I have a suggestion: DO NOT INVITE OUT-OF-TOWN speakers on 2 weeks notice. 
It is transparent that such a request means "we couldn't get 
anyone else", and is seen as generally considered disrespectful and may 
undermine chances of getting them later.  This may be what is happening 
with Eric Do as I warned earlier.  I hope we haven't damaged his chance of 
coming next year.
