2. Maybe Roy and Eric doing a joint thing on getting vigorous growth plus visual appeal with planted aquaria. Or maybe focusing on a non-Crypts group of plants. Mosses, in advance of the holidays? The wonderful world of hygros?
The AGA convention in three weeks will feature a speaker on Mosses, and if it's a decent talk we can share the video at a later meeting. The fact that we've got crypts coming up makes me think we should have something non-plant to balance. I can't commit to preparing any sort of talk or part of a talk right now as I'm working like mad prepping for the AGA convention and getting their annual aquascaping contest wrapped up.
Last resort: I have enclosed a catalog of my collection of aquarium-related talks. If there is nobody able to talk, one can always show one of these. Some are quite good.

Key: GSAS = Greater Seattle Aquarium Society GPAS = Greater Portland Aquarium Society ACA = American Cichlid Association AGA = Aquatic Gardeners Association NEC = Northeast Council Workshop NJAS = North Jersey Aquarium Society KAS = Kitsap Aquarium Society (Rest In Peace) I will only make copies of talks for which you've gotten specific permission from the speaker. I suggest e-mailing them, mentioning that it's one of my tapes & what you want to do with it (i.e. show at a club meeting, keep in library, etc). Videos from 6/99 on are generally from Digital source tape, better wireless mics & as such are much higher quality than those shot before 6/99. Videos as part of the AGA conventions are actually being sold by the AGA to its members (but on the flip side, they don't require the permission from the speakers). Check http://www.aquatic-gardeners.org/merch.html for details and pricing.
