Seems to me that just before we moved up here from Seattle there was a movement afoot by the city to convert the abandoned telephone exchange building on California avenue into meeting facilities for the public. I don't know whether they followed through with this plan but it might be worth a looksee. Good luck with your search folks. You'll find something....and thanks for the attaboy Rick!
