Do you have a sponge filter or something? I tried these about 10 years ago but never got many. If you get them going well, I might want to try them. Do you just dump them into the tank to feed? It seems like they could possibly be a problem if all of them are not eaten. dave -----Original Message----- From: Walburger, David [mailto:DWalburger@epochpharm.com] Sent: Thursday, January 06, 2000 8:40 AM To: 'gsas-member@thekrib.com' Subject: RE: scuds They are very easy to raise - but do not grow very fast until you get a "critical mass" of them. Just a bare bottom 10 gal without a filter - some hornwort or java moss if you want and just feed them a pinch of some cheap fish food each day. I add a little container or mesh bag of Ammonia/Nitrate resin as peace of mind as I do not have any plants in with them. -Dave W. -----Original Message----- From: Greenman [mailto:bnbjohns@home.com] Sent: Wednesday, January 05, 2000 5:41 PM To: gsas-member@thekrib.com Subject: RE: scuds I saw these on a website for sale.
