It is basically the same di-n -butyl tin oxide (maybe identical). It is usually used for internal worms, specifically tapeworms. Disco-Worm is pretty safe. Thing is that although people talk about tapeworms in discus I don't remember when I've seen one, and I've dissected a lot of discus. I've found tapeworms in goldfish from an outdoor pond and sticklebacks from local ditches, but I hardly ever see them in tropicals. What discus DO get alot is Capillaria worms, and I don't know if Di-n -butyl Tin Oxide works on that (though it could). I've used di-n -butyl tin oxide before (quite a few times) but I can't really tell you if it did any good. Synonyms: dibutyloxostannane; Dibutyltin oxide; Di-n-butyltin oxide.
