Re: Never under estimate algae eating shrimp

Want to hear about my most valueless spawning accomplishment?
I bred the glass shrimp, yeah, the feeder from the LFS that goes for 3 for a buck or better.
Woo hoo. I feel special. The babies are cute though.
Just thought I would bring my shrimpy accomplishment up considering the topic :)

Subject: Never under estimate algae eating shrimp

Some time ago there was discussion of rainbows eating shrimp. I had
"forgotton" that there were a bunch of shrimp in a tank when I put two large
rainbows in. Since I "saw" fewer and fewer shrimp, I assummed that rainbows
had some expensive meals. Today I took that tank down and guess what? All 25
shrimp were still present, all hiding in thick sprite or under rocks. Even
the little ones escaped.
