Paul asked me to forward this which includes the e-mail I initially sent him privately trying to work my way through the rules <G>. I'll have more points, I know, if we do extend back 6 months....which would include the results of my summer spawnings last year. One of my own personal challenges would be to come up with scientific names for my invertebrates <G>. That's just not my background. Heck, I'm more into learning how to get fish to spawn and learning how to rear babies than the point thing <G>. It's kinda fun though. I just don't have enough tanks to get crazy about this <G>. Documentation: Well, I think both Steev Ward & Dave Walburger have seen my gourami babies, but I can't remember how old the fry were when either of these folks were by. Several folks have gotten starter batches of Endler's from me. White clouds...can't remember if I showed any of the folks who visited my scarey house where the white clouds are. Hmmmmm...what is the best way to document. Paul??? Suggestions.... All I > listed were species I did last year. Give me another 2-3 months before I can claim anything in 2005. Although I've been feeding my white clouds Daphnia daily so they should have fry anytime now as well. The honey gouramis are in their 3rd spawn since mid March...but I haven't dipped out any fry to rear yet. So, I don't qualify yet <G>. When the time comes, I don't really have room for more plants except maybe in my 10 gallon honey gourami tank at work. For some reason, all the stem plants have faded away and java moss is taking over. I have to revise that! The gouramis like stem plants better. I think the Ludgwegia is interesting to me.... > Now, I have to go read the plant rules <G>. I have baby tears taking > over my Dario tank at home and the Hygrophilia is climbing out of my honey gourami tank and snaking through my orchids! The babytears has been one of those plants that kinda plateaued and suddenly got a amp start for some reason. But my tanks are so small in comparison to many tanks in the club that extra clippings wouldn't look like much. > Gosh...my background in taxonomy is marine.
