Re: [GSAS-Member] Galaxy rasbora??

Coming out of Singapore I would be willing to say that it would not be a
stretch to find that this is, in fact, a hybrid developed for the sales
market.....like so many other fish we have seen. I seriously doubt this
is a wild caught fish. The way the article is worded they do a very
careful job of leaving it open to the reader's imagination as to the
status of this fish being wild or not. Having seen what has been
created in the African Cichlid world I am a bit cautious now with any
"new species" found claims.....

This blurb tells you a bit....not tons, but suggests it's a wild-caught
critter not a man-made hybrid.

Looks like Frank was only asking $8 each + shipping for them which isn't
bad. I could get enough to make a shoal (wink)....but I'd better wait
till I get situated in a new house before taking on new critters.
Heterandria formosa I can handle....but a new egg-layer....well, I'm not
as dedicated to breeding as many of you are so it's not really smart for
me to lust over something like this. I'll wait till I'm either ready and
willing to try to breed them OR they are another lovely fish being
captive bred for the aquarium trade.
