I tend to agree. I've only got 1 pair of Amanos that have been going
pretty strong for years. Although the female gets all loaded up with eggs,
nothing else happens, i.e. no babies. But they are in a tank with fish, so
I don't expect survivors even IF the naupli developed in the salt-free
tank. I thought they only lived 18 months or so (scratching head). It's
gotta be 3-4 years now since I picked them up. Anyway, they seem to keep a
10 gallon tank spiffed up but the red cherries seem to do better, and
breed at the same time (if it's a tank with no predators).
