Salt won't bother the shrimp at all if the fish can survive in it. Watch out
for Fluke-Tabs though and any other medications. Anything that can kill
snails will also kill the shrimp.

I don't think the small amount of salt will be an issue for shrimp. Just
raise the salt level gradually, and keep it at that (so, add it back in in
the appropriate amount when you change water.)
Salt is always my first choice for fungus and other oddities, before trying
anything more drastic like dyes and antibiotics
