Re: [GSAS-Member] spontaneous snail generation



Well, I'm going to try and remove them using the classic technique of tying a 
bit of meat to a rock, letting it sit overnight in the tank, remove, replace, 
then repeat, repeat, repeat. If that doesn't work,  I'll take the fish out and 
dump some copper things in .
 
There are a lot of them - hundreds easily, shown up in the last week or so. 
Oddly, not so much on the plants. I have a feeling they're algae eaters. I 
scooped out a few dozen the other day and am trying them out in killi fry tanks 
to see if they'll eat the uneaten BBS. At least they survive in my tapwater, 
unlike most ramshorns which are the best at keeping fry tanks clean
