Having an Eheim 2229 Bio filter, I have typically used the spraybar, but have tried some other methods that work equally as well if not better. I have unique challenges, as my fishtank is round, just like that crazy canadian bacom, MmmMMm... Anyways, after the loop part that would wrap around the bend in the fishtank, instead of using the spraybar, I have also just used flexible PVC tubing sbout 2 feet long, and blocked off the end piece. This way, I can make small holes just like the spraybar, but put them at varrying degrees (soing point strait, some pointing down, some pointing another way, etc). This works better for 2 reasons: If done correctly it prevents any dead spots of water movement, which the spraybar does not, and #2, I can wrap the PVC around the lip of my round fishtank, which looks better than a big strrait bar (in a green color no less) which doesn't match the tank decor. Then again I'm picky. - macker On Sat, Mar 1, 2008 at 8:44 AM, Laurel Larsen <laurelthequeen@gmail.com> wrote: > There are a few options for the output depending on what you're trying > to do with it.
