I agree with that.  I never understood why Eheim made their parts  
green.  Many people paint the black to blend in with their backgrounds  
with Krylon Fusion paint. If the size is the same, marineland has  
black stuff that works well.  I have a great output jet from my  
marineland c360 that allows you to direct the flow with baffle things  
that click into 5 of 6 little spots.  I have one stream pointed up  
towards the surface and the other down towards the sand.
