Try again in another 12 or so hours. One thing I forgot to mention (oops) - I keep a light on the culture on the 'normal fishroom light' schedule. Not sure how much it helps, but I've always done it this way - usually leave the jar near a tank with a hanging light. I don't think they hatch as readily in the dark. Also, if it still fails, it might be the eggs are bad. Tell us about your brine shrimp eggs - when were they acquired? How are they stored? BSE *hate* moisture; they want to hatch when they get damp. If you've kept them open for long periods of time, that really hammers their shelf life. I keep mine in the bottom of a frost free fridge after opening. Those little vials of them you get from pet shops are pretty bad, in my experience, though the vials are handy > From: Shango@shangolos.com> To: gsas-member@thekrib.com> Date: Mon, 19 May > 2008 09:50:28 -0700> Subject: Re: [GSAS-Member] Brewing Brine Shrimp> > Matt, > What if after 24 hours there are no brine shrimp hatched?
