    I try to take every precaution against racoon assaults, but I just lost one 
10 inch
koi yesterday. I was keeping him in a large tub, with a lid, because he seemed 
skinnier
than the rest and I left the lid off so I could watch and see if he was eating 
his
food. I forgot to put it back on before I went to bed and the next day he was 
in pieces
on the lawn.
     It guess it takes something like that to remind me to not take chances 
when it
comes to raccoons.
