I know I know....I've been through similar experiences with my chickens and raccoons (sigh). I put heavy metal dog crate wire floor pieces over my smaller mini-ponds (because my dogs EAT waterlilies....grump), but I'm thinking the stock ponds are too deep/high. Maybe I'm naive (weak grin).....I've heard of swimming raccoons but not ones that dive down roughly 4'.
