I forgot to add that the snails are Golden Mystery snails, Pomacea bridgesii, 
(see this link: http://www.applesnail.net/content/species/pomacea_bridgesi.htm 
).  I have hundreds after getting two as a free gift from an Aquabid seller in 
2004.  They're everywhere in my tanks but I don't mind them because they're 
great scavengers.  While they are VERY prolific, they won't damage plants or 
cause other mischief.  They get eaten by snail-eating fish when small, and lay 
their eggs above the water line.  They can get to be golf-ball sized.  I use 
the empty shells of large old ones for Shell-dewlling african cichlids 

Yes, the krib is female if she has a pink belly!
