[GSAS-Member] Some fish for sale/trade

Hi ALL,

  I have the following fish for sale/trade to those who attend to the September 
GSAS meeting.
  If you are too far away but you really have to have the fish I listed, I can 
ship also.
  Any case, please contact me directly by the e-mail.  I will go by the order 
by the e-mail I received.  Please contact me before the morning of (10/14th) so 
I can catch the fish and bring to the meeting.


  ***1/2~3/4"TL(from tip to tip) Bristlenose Pl*co              
  5 for $10 Brown(with Albino gene) or 4 for $10 Albino
  ( I have both Albino and regular brown colored.  These guys are around 1~1 
1/2 month old.  They are the tiniest Pl*co you see.  And they would be perfect 
window cleaner for nano tank.  Although eventually they need bigger home.  up 
to 50 available)


  ***F1 CW10 Corydoras Orange Laser(around 1.25"TL)               
  3 for $20  or  7 for $40
  ( Some of you know that I have had only 1 spawn from them although the female 
are always fat with the eggs.  I am hoping the F1 is more willing to spawn than 
the wild caught parents.  They are really colorful Corys you don't see locally 
often.  And most Cory you should keep in good sized group and I do recommend 6 
+.  About 20 available)

  (They have the little bluish spot at the base of tail which is unique color

  (One of the Cory that like warmer temperature and you can keep with Discus or

  (One of the Cory like cooler temperature.  I have my breeding group in 
unheated tank all year around.  And they really like the water current.  10

  I also have following breeding group for sale but they would be available for 
the person who can pick them up since I do not want to catch and bring to the 
meeting and something came up and you end up missing the meeting.  

  ***6 Adult Corydoras Sterbai(born and raised in Seattle tap)
  $80 for the group of 6
  (Although I never collect the eggs from them since they are in the community 
tank and I have my main group in the breeding tank that produce enough eggs.  
But I see them making eggs now and then.  I know there are at least 2 pairs but 
could be 2/4 or 3/3 or 4/2 sex ratio.  I really haven't look closely.  They are 
around 10~11 months old and they are some of the first batch of frys I raised 
from the eggs that I collected from my main group.)

  ***6 Adult Corydoras Panda(they are the mixture of F1 and local store bought)
  $60 for the group of 6
  ( They are actually from my breeding group.  I actually have 18 adults in the 
tank and I would like to lighten the stock level.  I would guarantee the 2 
pairs and last 2 would be whichever end up in the net.  I know the youngest is 
at least a year and half old and some I have them for almost 3 years.  And they 
do breed about 2~3 times a week.  And pretty much a all year around.  I keep 
this tank without heater.)

  ***6 Adult Corydoras Melanotaenia
  $30 for the group of 6
  (They are originally came from the trade with Monica who told me that they 
are from some breeder.  So I have no idea how old they are.  At one time last 
year, I had over 500 frys from them.  So they are one of the hardy and easy 
Corydoras to breed.  I got some new fish and I just don't have the space to 
give them their breeding tank anymore.)

  Probably most of you know but they(all except some of my breeders) are all 
raised from the eggs in my tanks with Seattle tap water.  Let me know if

  Here is some stuff I could use(trade).

  ***I am looking for the main holding part of canister filter RENE XP-3(where 
the filter  basket were held) .  I bought this filter as used like  2 years 
ago.  And somehow, the one of the side corner plastic or acrylic ma in part 
sprang the leak.  Of course I try to fix it with some silicone.  And it held 
for a while but it leaked again.
  The thing is the motor part is still working and I did some web search and 
found that I could get the replacement of container part for around $50 but I 
could buy the whole thing for around  $120.  Although it could be a long shot I 
figure I ask here first if someone have broken  this same filter and I could 
use for the parts.      
  
   *** I also could use some thick 3~4 " cubicle of aquarium safe sponge/foam 
for the sponge filter.  I could use both low density or high density pores.    
Or if someone know where I can find with good price, I would be appreciate the 
info.
   
   ***   And I can use some Aquarium Thermometers.  It seems I have more tanks 
than the number of thermometers I have.    I could always get them from store 
but I figure if someone have some that can be traded, it may do   good to both 
of us.
