Alright, so I broke down and added a nano tank (6 gallon Eclipse) to my tank collection because I want to keep shrimp! It only has an 8 watt T5 built in light so I am probably going to be limited to low light plants and mosses. I decided that I want a dark substrate so the shrimp will be more noticeable. I have refined my choices to Turface, Soilmaster Select Charcoal, ADA Aquasoil, or Flourite Black. I would like a substrate that is dark, medium small grain size, and with some weight, so it doesn't shift easily. What suggestions do you have? If any members have some "extra" of any the above they would like to sell I think I will need about 15 pounds. Please contact me "off list" and let me know how much you have, and what price you are asking.
