I thought that might be the case. I know inverts are sensitive to nitrates, that's a big deal in reef tanks... but if nitrates are killing my cherries then they are more delicate than I had imagined. I should get a test kit, I guess! It's been so long since I used one I am sure mine are expired. Of course Cliff said his thrive on neglect. :) Maybe I overfed them, which would contribute to a nitrate problem. Thanks!
