Linda, when I had a nano reef I used a diastolic feeding pump to
automatically add water to compensate for evaporation. I think it came out
to a couple hundred mL/day. I got the pump off eBay for about $100. Well
worth it. What's another $100 for a reef tank? ;) Unfortunately it's a bit
noisy but it did save me a lot of work in keeping the water level constant.
