I actually only had one snail. It was very pretty but I didn't really get the full algae eating benefits from having just the one in the tank (55G). Eventually he just died. I'm perplexed as to why though. I fed that tank regularly and well IMO but I guess it could have been something else. I think I had it a little over a year before he died. The eggs lasted well into the future.
