I disagree. But at this point it makes no difference.

Folks, we have a consistent pattern of things getting more and more
complex at every possible turn.

It seems like at every turn the outline of the contest moves farther and
farther from anything to which I ever considered contributing time,
effort, money or even my personal endorsement. It's now reached the point
