AGA Convention vendor solicitation

Hi Diana,

I'm James Purchase (APD, AGA) and I understand that you handled the
solicitation of prizes for the AGA Convention and AGA Contest last year. I
had done that task for the AGA Showcase/Contest in 2000.

I'm back to oversee the 2002 Contest and I'm eager to see more cooperation
and coordination between the two events. I'm very sure that there are many
things both groups need to do that can be done easier, smarter and faster if
we work together.

I would like to obtain a copy of the contact list you used last year as well
as any notes you might have on individual vendors. I want to combine your
results with mine from the first year so that we can plan a common approach
for BOTH events this year. I would also like to discuss any plans you might
have formulated for this year to ensure that we don't duplicate our efforts
since both events are in support of the same organization and goals.

I look forward to working with you on this project and hope that we can make
this a crackerjack year for both events.
