Glad to hear that "Jack" Amano was pleased. We should try to get some feedback from Tomoko, too. Here insihgts with Amano are generally good and may be helpful. Karen, if you want to write or call her for an informal debriefing, please do. If you don't have the time (or the cough medicine is too strong ;-) )I'll drop her a line. We have to do some damage repair with the vendors although I'm not clear about how. I think Phil has all the contact names and addrs for the vendors, including Ray's list for the contacts for all the companies he represents -- each of them need to get a mailed letter of thanks along with the other vendors. I believe Rick is going to help Phil with a few parts of this daunting task. It's is important that these letters go out relatively close to the event. Postage/expenses get charged to AGA2K4. Kent is long time AGA supporter and advertiser in TAG. We need to be a bit careful how we handle them, imo. Milwaukee left the site without leaving anything or letting anyone know they were leaving -- reportedly a bit fed up but that report might be grossly overstated. I hope that after Erik fills in Kathy on the event, she can find some time to talk to Ray. On the whole, I think the hotel did a good job for us, but the "breakdown"/misscommunication with vendor room access times didn't get our attention soon enough. A couple of things "conspired" against us re the vendors. I saw a similar but worse problem at an NJAS event. Perhaps next year, we should consider having someone appointed to looking after the vendors. This obviously had not occured to be before, but the long-term relationships are so important, maybe we should consider it. sh --- Ghazanfar Ghori <ghorig@gmail.com> wrote: > I got some sleep!
