We are, in fact, starting to disappear down the rabbit hole on this one, and
it has gotten to the point where I doubt that any good can come out of it.
If the articles in the out of print issues of PAM never again see the light
of day that is too bad, but we really should just close the door on this and
move on. No nothing to Dave, and AGA just keeps the piles of PAMs we have
and get them out as we see fit. If Dave wants to pay his dues he is an AGA
member, but no special treatment or deals. In the back of my head I hear my
dear departed mother mumbling things about "beating dead hoirses" and some
kind of dogs lying.
"Sursum ad summum" the motto of my high school = onward and upward.
If it needs to be in the form of motion I move that we do nothing further
with Dave Gomberg and any rights to PAM that are out of print, and we just
continue selling off the PAMs we have acquired.
If we don't need a motion then let's just drop it.

EXCUSE ME!!!! DAVE did NOT bully us into ANYTHING on this one. HE
suggested something different, and I proposed the idea of waiving his
membership fee going forward.
I'm sorry, but you guys are turning into a lynch mob. Dave is not the
easiest person to get along with, and his thinking tends to be very
self-centered. But he is NOT the monster he is being portrayed as on this
list. He has done more WORK for AGA than the majority of our members in
the past. Personally, I've had enough of it.
When you guys move on to other subject matter, please let me know in a
private e-mail if you want my input. I won't be reading any more on this
list until then. Consider me COMPLETELY out of this conversation. And
DON'T expect me to talk to Dave about any of this.

I agree with Scott and Erik. It would inappropriate to give Dave a
lifetime membership because he bullied us into it. I say, offer him
$100.00 for the rights to publish our copies of PAM on DVD's or any other
way, and if he turns us down, so be it. Who needs all this trouble?
