You must excuse me, please. I didn't check the AGA web page until this morning. Either Erik just made those changes or I've been babbling like an idiot for quite a while -- not that those are mutually exclusive. Anyway, the bus can leave now, it looks like Scott has caught up. ;-) I have two humble offerings in the attached document. First is revised web page text. I would like to stop calling these things "bids" and call them "proposals". Really. I'd like to stop myself from callng them "bids" and I can't seem to do it. But, as a procurement flunky, I keep reminding myself that proposals are designed by the proposers. A bid is a price offered for a specified body of work or handful of monosolenium. A proposal sounds more flexible (flexier?) -- We probably seem rigid enough without the extra weight of the word -- so let's try to be flex symbols. Second, I figured we might as well reflect these points in the Requirements and Guidelines doc, so I redrafted the 1st paragraph of that doc as shown in the attachment. The changed text in that paragraph is underlined for easy identification. In actual copies of the Requirements and Guidelines doc, the changed text won't be underlined, although it may occassionally be illuminated by bright marquee lights and accompanied with the riproaring sound of Sousa marches played on kazoos. sh -- Erik Olson <erik@thekrib.com> wrote: . . . > > Please let me know the final text (Scott, you're the > head).
