How about having a draft proposal due 12 months ahead of time with the final 
due no later than 10 months.  We've given SFBAAPS the reason of businesses 
and people planning their vacations/trade shows a year ahead of time enough 
that I think we need to live up to our end of that statement.  By allowing 
any other clubs the option of a draft proposal being in later than 12 months 
I think it sends a biased statement.  Given, we were willing to give SFB 
special consideration in the first place.

To be honest, I would really like to see proposals in 14-16 months prior to 
the actual event with the final proposal ironed out 12 months in advance.  
That gives all parties involved plenty of lead time and the ability to 
coordinate speakers and whatnot with the folks doing the show going on 
during the planning for the following year's show.
