I believe some of the DFWAPC folks have been working with
this type of design. It's a "look" about which folks rarely
seem ambivalent.

I like it. But then, I also like the "foreground" in the
middle sometimes -- it's a diff perspective on what should
be in front (and/or what should be in back, etc.)
