Re: Which issue? (fwd)



I have always been in support of the PAM idea. As already stated, we need
to clearly define the AGA pages of the magazine. If there is a need for
other member contributions - beginner articles; how-to; shared experiences
- these can go up on the web. Thus, no need for a printed TAG.  
If the SC so desires, I would be willing to have an informal discussion
with Gomberg... before we have a formal/official discussion with him. I
think he will still be interested but not to the same extent as last year.

If we decide as an SC to replace TAG with PAM, then the question is: do we
have a discussion with the MC or just announce the decision - first to
Mary... then the other MC - both as a courtesy - and then thru the mailing
list to the internet members and then thru a snail mailing to all members
(perhaps as part of the next TAG). I opt for the SC decision and
announcements. If this is done, we may have to find another lawyer to
finish the bilaws. I suggest that we do this anyway.
