I have always been in support of the PAM idea. As already stated, we need to clearly define the AGA pages of the magazine. If there is a need for other member contributions - beginner articles; how-to; shared experiences - these can go up on the web. Thus, no need for a printed TAG. If the SC so desires, I would be willing to have an informal discussion with Gomberg... before we have a formal/official discussion with him. I think he will still be interested but not to the same extent as last year. If we decide as an SC to replace TAG with PAM, then the question is: do we have a discussion with the MC or just announce the decision - first to Mary... then the other MC - both as a courtesy - and then thru the mailing list to the internet members and then thru a snail mailing to all members (perhaps as part of the next TAG). I opt for the SC decision and announcements. If this is done, we may have to find another lawyer to finish the bilaws. I suggest that we do this anyway. --Neil At 01:59 PM 07/29/2001 -0400, you wrote: >This thought has occured to me at more than one instance in the past two >years, and I think the idea is worth considering.
