Me neither. What I was trying to say was that they were planning on some cost avoidance by hopping on TAG and what we decide in that regard might require them to rework the budget. Which is fine. It's so early compared to other years -- there's time to work this tuff out. >> > Right, but that's my point TAG 17-3 (which should go out > mid-August, while > many people are away on vacation) goes out too early to > be "well into > convention season", IMO. If, they're on vacation in August won't they see the TAG in Sept when they get back? -- which is good timing? I dunno. If the timing's no good then they they have to pump the budget to cover a separate mailing. > We just don't want them surprised if > they under-estimate > because they've forgotten an important piece. A "Last Straw" Argument. Haven't seen one of those since the Phil Dept at UCSB. They're killers. So . . . . this could be covered by contingency amount inthe budget but I don't think they have enough contingency in general. So maybe they should add it in and if they can aovid it (room for one more straw) then it's a budget underrunthat everybody likes. s-till h-umble ===== S.
