Hangon - the worms are not camallanus according to a post on the krib ( the last one actually - http://www.thekrib.com/Diseases/nematodes.html#15 ) because it says that the camallanus worms reproduce by producing eggs that require an intermediate host and are endemic to North America. My fish were imported recently from Asia, native grounds of a worm called capillaria which produce live babies inside their bodies as I have witnessed in the worms I examined from the dead female apisto. Will the same medication work for capillaria ?
