I have kept and spawned a fish that was (in Sweden) labled A. sp. Aruaņa. I bought a wild pair at an auction and found it to be a very nice fish. Easy to spawn, great parents and very nice behaviour. I lost them during the Great Fish Room Disaster last spring (from which I am finally recovering). They looked exactly like the fish on Randys pictures, including the vertical bars on the juveniles - could it be the same fish? I think some of the juveniles were sent to Sven Kullander for examination but I haven't heard anything about this yet. /Fredrik Nilsson > -----Original Message----- > From: Randy Carey [mailto:carey@spacestar.net] > Sent: den 19 september 2000 23:32 > To: apisto@listbox.com > Subject: Re: Apisto sp.
