Yvan, The Apisto-gram always has a list of books that have something on dwarf cichlids. The ASG web page will eventually have my d.c. bibliography on it, too. I sent it in last month - over 800 references. Of these only 3 were in French: Original descriptions of A. bitaeniata, N. aureocephalus, and one entitled "Apistogramma nijsseni Kullander un nouveau Cichlidé nain pour l'aquarium" by de Rham & Kullander, which introduced A. nijsseni into the aquarium hobby and pictured what males looked like for the first time. I know of some books dealing with d.c.s that are published in French. Most are books translated from German. They include: Boujard T., M. Pascal, J. F. Meunier & P. Y. Le Bail (1997) : Poissons de Guyane, guide écologique de l'Approuague et de la reserve des Nouragues. INRA éditions, Versailles : p 18, 170 & 172. Riehl R. & H. A. Baensch (1997) : Atlas de l'Aquarium, band 1. 3ème version française. Mergus Verlag, Melle. Baensch H. A. & R. Riehl (1997) : Atlas de l'Aquarium, band 2. Mergus Verlag, Melle. Linke H. & W. Staeck (1992) : Cichlidés américains I, espéces naines. Tetra Verlag, Melle. I also understand that the "Revue francaise Aquariologie" (not sure if I got the spelling right) is an excellent magazine. Hope this helps. Mike Wise Yvan Alleau wrote: > hi everybody,I would like to get some more books > about dwarfs and was wondering if I could get > from you kind of an exhaustive list.
