Re: Update on lamp blowout



I think that it's pretty clear from what I've read and know about heavy 
metals, in fact all metals, that plants are VERY good at soaking them 
all up. Look at the research mentioned by Diana Walstead and you'll see 
what I mean (unfortunately I'm not at home so I can't quote the 
references at you). The best at this is the Water Hyacinth (I've got 
LOTS at home if anybody in the EU wants some - but you're not are you!)
I'd be trying to keep my plants as trim as possible until you need to 
let them grow out for the comp.
As has been mentioned before, there isn't a lot of Hg in there etc.
