Greg, I assume that this is the same fish pictured in Aqualog's SACII, p. 59, S03845-3. This is a form closely related to A. regani and A. sp. Amapá. It's probably the same as a fish pictured by Koslowski as A. sp. Amapá from the Rio Cunaní. This river is located in the Brazilian state of Amapá, north (across the Amazon) from Belem. This is a clear to whitewater species that should breed in slightly acid (pH 6.0-6.5), moderately soft, water.
