Eric, I would like to know if you could help me with a problem. I have setup a 55 gal tank (October 18) and have it planted with a bunch of plants. I am using the sugar/yeast/baking soda mix in a bottle, to give it CO2. I use Compact Flo.s and leave them on about 10 hours a day. I have 4 small Rainbows, 6 Cardinal Tetras, 3 algae eaters and a pair of Kribs in the tank to get it conditioned. My problem: I have some type of "hair" looking algae all over the plants. It looks like I took my wife's hair brush and put all of the hair in the brush and put it in the tank! Good any ideas? I would hate to tear down the tank and start over, but if I have to.....
