I wouldn?t mind seeing an e-mail to contact someone for a pricelist. (was: hmmmm) I think Mike has adequately explained the major parts of the problem. The other part is flame wars over proper identification of fish offered for sale. In many species of apistos 2 or more 'forms' come in under the same name. We had problems in the past where one aquarist sold a fish called Apisto sp. X, but the buyer received a fish he didn't think was X. Then flaming begins over "bait & switch" practices. The problem with this is that both parties are usually justified, in part. We can do without these problems on the list. Such problems should be left to personal emails, but many times are not. I have no problem with people mentioning that they have had some species spawn & need to move them. What I don't want is price lists of species for sale. If you have a web site where you sell fish I have no problem with adding it below your name when replying to messages on the list, either. But I don't want to see emails that just promote a price list. Just my 2¢. Mike Wise mjacobs2@tampabay.rr.com wrote: > Please let me exlain folks with NO opinion given here!
