assorted apistos...

Hello,


Well the order of 200 assorted Apistogrammas from a Colombian exporter came 
into a local store a few days ago. I went there today to check it out. Of 
the 200 around 30 are left. They are all in pretty rough shape. The owner of 
the store let me take all of them for free, I am hoping to save a few of 
them. They came in all different sizes from 1-5cm. The largest ones are 
dying however. When I was collecting the survivors I saw some dead male full 
grown A. sp "breitbinden" That was a shame. Im hoping some of hte babies I 
have that are two young to tell what they are will be one of those. In the 
last few hours since I got them home I put them into 3x15gallon tanks. 
(about 10 per tank) Some have died within the last few hours that I got them 
home. Infact the nicest female who was large and had black stripes down her 
body(not sure what fish this is?) was the healthiest looking fish, but she 
died 10minutes ago.
Anyway the ones that are alive are feeding on a dose of brineshrimp I just 
fed them. Most of them have the body shape of macmasteri, regani or 
cacatuoides type apistos. Most of them either are tan with some black 
blotches along the lateral line or they have some black stripes down there 
side....
Anyway Im hoping I get some survivors. He wasnt planning to treat them, so I 
did the right thing. I had a few extra tanks, see what I can salvage...

Any idea about which apistos they are? any suggestions on what do to with 
them treatment wise?
The petstore water was 7. So I put them in ph7 and am slowly lowering it. In 
the last 4 hours it has gone from 7 to about 6.91

When I know which ones are survivors I will go through the Identifying chart 
and write down all the features...
