conductivity question
Excuse my ignorance(which is why Im asking a question in the first place)
... but Idont understand why my conductivity doesnt stay where it is out of
the tap. My tap water is 30microsiemens but I had a tank with just one pair
of Dicrossus filamentosus and a bunch of plants on some sand from pool sand
filters. The conductivity was over 500 microsiemens, no wonder they weren't
spawning?
How can it increase? does accumulated fish waste cause conductivity to
increase? or what is happening?? Also used a lot of Dehumidified water on
that tank which is 10microsiemens. How could it be so high?
how can I lower it?
thanks
coby
