I also set up my new fish in tanks just for them, so in sense, they are
going into quarantine tanks.... I dont have any reason to move these
fish, so I guess the quarantine tank is permanent.....   I have had
times where i brought home some wild caught Sp Maulbruter males from
Montreal for the lovely lonely ladies i have..... I waited about 6 weeks
before adding them to 55 gallon tank that houses my Maulbruters....  I
had no outbreaks of disease in this tank, so i guess i sucessfully
quarantined them....
