Thanks for the considered response, Wright. So far there is so little 
traffic here that I feel desperate to generate some. Even that stray 
subscription request a few days ago felt like news -- but I know that 
over time the discussions will probably pick up regardless of how the 
list server is programmed.

That's the way it always works. My A. nijsseni decided to spawn in a 
community tank just as I had to leave town for work. When I came back the 
fry were gone.
