*No* really rich food can be safely frozen after it dies. Blood worms
and (possibly) brine shrimp will do the exact same things to your fish,
if not alive when frozen. That's a real problem with some of the
off-brand SE-Asian frozen products. Several are known to be lethal, for
the blood worms are rotting when frozen.
Try eating a dead-before-cooking-or-freezing lobster and find out how
you feel. ;-) Bacteria simply attack too quickly for safety.
