Thank you so much Bill.  I have to admit in typical fashion I was getting a
little obsessive about this whole thing - trying to learn in a few months
what it obviously takes years of experience to learn.  I will take your
advice - relax and enjoy my fish and of course keep lurking on the
newsgroups.  Perhaps I will let my husband become the aquarium gardener - he
seems to be more interested in that aspect than I am.  He makes fun of my
plastic plants too.
