I used to have the same problem until I started using the recipe from
"Delicious Daphnia Dreams" by Dan McMonigle (Apisto-Gram #53). I get
population explosions like I had not seen before with other foods. I make=
 a
2 litter bottle at a time, which lasts for at least 2 weeks in the
refrigerator. =


Mosquito larvae is still the easiest though.
