Matt I have kept and spawned the A. panduro and T. candida under similar conditions. I use R/O water filtered through peat. The pH is around 5.0 but sometimes getting down to 4.5. The total hardness is around 100 ppm. The fish are fed frozen brine shrimp and newly hatched baby brine. When I'm feeling adventurous, I will occaionally feed some tubifex. Both fish have been very prolific and in fact are currently overwhelming me. I keep most of these fish crowded to keep aggression down. Even in these crowded conditions, they spawn and if there is enough cover, the fry survive. Occassionally I will use the panduro as dither fish or to entice shy apistos out into the open.
