Did anyone answer the rest of these questions? I will try. >Anyhow, can anyone give me any info on A. "Pebas"? >I know that it is in the A. macmasteri group, but that is about it. >so ANY info is appriciated It is a colorful form of sp. "Rotpunkt" so allegedly easy to keep and spawn. >What is the general opinion on A. atahualpa? Behavior, looks etc.. They are very aggressive fish amongst themselves and similar species. I tried keeping them with A. luelingi for example and it did not work. Some people on the list said theirs all killed each other. Spawning success seems quite variable. Someone said they seemed to be monogamous which might explain this. They look great and even the females are very distinctive with vivid orange and black coloration and an unusual pattern on the ventral fins. I just posted a link to recent photos. >Oh, I am also curious about A. mamore. >To make my query more specific, has anyone kept these fish and if so have >these experiences been positive? I'm guessing they are pretty much the same as trifasciata, and if so they are pretty easy to keep and spawn also. -Doug Brown debrown@kodak.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the apistogramma mailing list, apisto@majordomo.pobox.com.
