acclimaing new fish
When ever I get new fish, or am transferring fish between tanks, I use
the drip method for acclimation. What I do is pour the bag, or some
tank water into a 2.5 - 4.5 aquarium. Then I set up a slow drip (about
1 drop/sec) from the new tank to the small tank. It may take a few
hours, but I have never lost a fish due to shock using this method.
